As Lent progresses, I am often looking for ways to deck the halls for the upcoming Easter season. With kids involved, I like crafts that are easy to make. Like this multicolored Easter door decor which is an easy craft to do that recycles at the same time.

Easter Door Decor Multicolored Sign

Easter season would not be complete without a door décor.

Door decors can vary from wreath, garlands or even simple season signage.

In this tutorial, we will be recycling pieces of cardboard that are most of the time, disregarded and are thrown in the trash.

Corrugated board will be made instead of buying one in the market.

This will be a time-consuming activity. But I assure you, this is worth the wait.

Let us begin making one now!

  3. Let the paint dry for an hour.
  4. Get the other rectangular board and curve the sides of it.
  5. Paint the curved board using the green acrylic paint.  Let it dry for an hour or two.
  6. On a piece of scratch paper, make a bold lettering of the word E-A-S-T-E-R.  The type of font and the size would vary on the width of the corrugated board that you have.

  11. Hot glue each of the letters on the backboard.
  12. Form a V-shaped on the pipe cleaner.  This will be used for hanging the door décor.
  13. Hot glue the pipe cleaner on the middle top part of the EASTER door décor.
